![]() ![]() Perhaps I am misunderstanding what is said but I think my screen shot shows that there is difference between was the instructions say and what appears on screen. I am curious as to why the documentation for Pages describes something that is not my reality on screen. It can be used to position two (2-up) or more document pages side by side on one sheet, for example, to print a booklet or to reduce number of paper sheets needed to print the document. Im confused by the instructions given in most places Ive looked about paper size. This is a free online tool for rearranging PDF document layout to print multiple pages per sheet (also called N-up printing). Tomorrow I will load Office on my new Mac Book Pro and see how that works. I need to print a booklet in Word 2010 that is A5 size. I stopped using MS Office a few years ago after being assured Pages could fulfill my needs. Text shows “Creating Booklet “ and a rapid counting of the pages shows the progress at the completion of that both that window and the Print window disappear and I am looking at my document and it shows absolutely nothing to indicate that anything has happened or changed since I went to file>print. When I click on that a wide window that is not very high opens. When I put the cursor on that several options are revealed and towards the bottom one option is “Create booklet”. There is only one place I’ve found that contains the word booklet and that is the place I have previously described.Īt the bottom of the screen shot is a drop down menu bar just wide enough to contain “PDF” and a down arrow. In that spot there are three options: off, long edge binding and short edge binding. After I Erased all Content & Settings it disappeared and I don't know why. If you want insert all blank pages, then click inside the small circle in front of Insert. How to create booklet printing? I used to have Booklet setting available by default. The choices are Insert blank pages, Insert one text box on each page, and Duplicate all objects on page (you will have the option of inserting a page number inside the rectangle to the right of this option). ![]()
